Technology-Enhanced Learning from a Designer’s Perspective

By IGI Global on Dec 20, 2010
Now that online courses have been around for a while, there's an overwhelming need for them to be revised and improved. Esteemed IGI Global editor, Shalin Hai-Jew an Instructional Designer at the Information Technology Assistance Center (iTAC) at the Kansas State University (USA) acknowledges that "curricular updates can introduce important new content and may also introduce pedagogical enhancements that can improve the quality of e-learning." Hai-Jew shares her forward thinking in an article featured in this month's edition of EDUCAUSE Quarterly, which emphasizes online education and its importance and effectiveness in today's technology-based environment.
