Technology Innovation Spotlight: FRANCE

As the guest of honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair, France is known as a country of creativity and culture. IGI Global is proud to work closely with esteemed researchers in France. From the Pierre and Marie Curie University to École Polytechnique, IGI Global has 2,120 contributors, of which over 410 have written content for IGI Global’s cutting-edge journals and 1,389 have contributed to our innovative reference books. Five of these affiliates have also contributed to IGI Global’s cornerstone publication, The Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology, Fourth Edition.

Trending research in the country include international business, cyber security and warfare and e-health. IGI Global strives to ensure that the content our French contributors provide is disseminated expeditiously through all of our international channels. As a part of this responsibility, we turn to the preferred distributor--Eurospan Group for this region, to ensure that the rich content in our publications are made available to all institutions, researchers and professionals while the research is still completely new and revolutionary, enabling the next generation of innovation.

Coupled with the innovative research and culture, all international media attention will be focused on France at the upcoming Frankfurt Book Fair. From Oct. 11-15, the country will be hosting “Francfort en francais” or “Frankfurt in French” and French writers will be leading panel discussions and book readings. Also, they will be setting up art exhibitions, culinary nights, theater, music and film performances, all showcasing French culture. IGI Global will take part in the Frankfurt Book Fair and looks forward to meeting with our partners and others in the industry during this celebration of culture and publishing.
