Germany is a world leader in technology, engineering and innovation. From the Technical University of Munich and The University of Hamburg to Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres, IGI Global is proud to work with over 1,350 esteemed German universities and institutions.

Over 1,500 German professionals, researchers, students and librarians have contributed to IGI Global publications. Of these editors and authors, 1,233 have contributed content for IGI Global’s innovative books and 235 have provided cutting-edge content for IGI Global journals. Additionally, coupled with Germany’s technological innovation, 13 of our German affiliates have contributed to the highly anticipated Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology, Fourth Edition.

Not only has Germany provided us with the most trending research, but it hosts some of IGI Global’s esteemed partners including the preferred distributor--Eurospan Group, as well as Dietmar Dreier Wissenschaftliche, Massmann Internationale Buchhandlung, Missing Link - International Booksellers and Lehmanns Fachbuchhandlung Gmbh.

IGI Global partners closely with the German National Library of Economics (ZBW) to bring the most respected information science and technology research to German libraries. ZBW sponsors access to InfoSci®-Journals for researchers throughout the country. We also work with ZBW to organize a German Consortium e-book offering for all interested libraries.
