Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to analyze cyberterrorism and its reflection on international security. More specifically, it focuses on the analysis of the challenges facing the modern world arising from the urgency of cyber threats. While the development of information technology and the availability of information, in general, make the life of the world community easier in some respects, there are also threats, the elimination of which require the full mobilization of states. Hence, the chapter is based on the analysis of the various articles, reports, analytical papers, and case studies, depending on which it becomes possible to answer the main research question and identify the cyber threats facing the modern states.
