Abstract

The disastrous impacts of catastrophic events, droughts, and severe weather on people throughout the globe forced everyone to think about global warming and its implications and do all they can to fix it. Global warming prevention and sustainability include governments, corporations, and people. The topic of environmentally responsible banking has been widely covered in the media since the turn of the century. As a result, there is an urgent need to understand and categorise the growing body of sustainable banking research. The present study is intended to conduct a bibliometric analysis of green banking literature for the duration of 2001-2022. The findings offer a view on the development of the academic literature relating to sustainable banking all through the course of time as well as throughout academic disciplines and publications.
