Abstract

This chapter is highlighted upon improving digital health equity by addressing the motivation and barriers to using digital health from a broader perspective. It focuses on digital health interventions, with digital health success stories on recent advancements such as digital literacy to digital therapeutics, with overarching goal to enhancing digital health equity and accessibility to healthcare. The authors also shared their own studies with the need for transformative digital health intervention from the behavioral medicine standpoint, using of social media-based health education among South Asians in the United States.
