Abstract

With the quick improvement of modem innovation, representing objects and scenes virtually is one of those major considerations made in technological sectors. A virtual three-dimensional representation of objects is not just to have a glimpse of the structure, but also to have a realistic view of the scene. This chapter mainly describes the usage and applications of 3ds Max related to which creating a 3D model of a kitchen is briefed. The chapter also includes the methodologies of designing and implementing various features of 3ds Max like editors and materials. The manner in which patterns are applied to objects, lighting effects, usage of modifiers like edit poly, edit mesh, turbo-smooth, mesh smooth bend, etc. are briefly described. This chapter can guarantee a variety of usage on texture maps with the help of rendering material editors which improves the quality of the rendering image and the structure.
