Abstract

IoT is rapidly growing. As the next phase of the internet's growth, it's more essential than ever to recognize the various possible areas for IoT applications, as well as the research challenges that come with them. IoT is anticipated to penetrate virtually all aspects of daily life, from smart cities to healthcare, smart agriculture, logistics and retail, and even smart living and smart surroundings. Despite the fact that current IoT-enabling technologies have vastly improved in recent years, there are still a slew of issues that need to be addressed. Many research problems are expected to develop since the IoT idea is based on heterogeneous technology. IoT is a key study subject for studies in several related domains such as information technology and computer science since it is so wide and affects almost every aspect of our lives. As a result, the internet of things is paving the way for new types of research to be conducted. This article addresses future uses and research difficulties as well as the current progress of IoT technology.
