Abstract

This study has the purpose of analyzing the implications between institutional transformation, the knowledge transformation processes, and change. This analysis departs from the assumption that creation and transmission of knowledge transformation processes is fundamental for transformation and change of institutions. The method employed is the meta-cognition analysis based on conceptual, theoretical, and empirical literature. The study concludes that knowledge creation and transmission through technological innovation is required for institutional transformation and change.
