Abstract

Cloud computing offers a potential solution to the challenge of providing affordable education for all, aligning with the United Nations' sustainable development goal of inclusive and equitable quality education. Mahatma Gandhi's vision of education as a tool for social transformation and empowerment resonates with the opportunities provided by cloud computing. By granting access to a wide range of educational resources and fostering collaborative learning, cloud-based platforms enable inclusive education regardless of geographic or economic constraints. This chapter explores the role of cloud computing in achieving affordable education, examining its benefits such as cost reduction, increased access to resources, and improved learning outcomes. It also investigates the alignment between cloud computing and Gandhi's vision of education for a more just and equitable world.
