Abstract

This chapter addresses interesting and topical issues, such as the uncertainties and tensions generated in modern companies in their relationship with governments through governance, which facilitates understanding the importance of government decisions and the expectations of citizens regarding respect for global and economic processes and social responsibility towards the environment. In addition, the concept of VUCA environments was developed, which are typical of modern society; change is inherent to nature, human beings, and the social relations of production and governance, so it is important to be aware of the proper management of resources in both private and public organizations to have natural resources that guarantee at least in the short and medium term the survival of the human species.
