Introduction

The main theme for this book, “Enabling Technologies and Architectures for Next-Generation Networking Capabilities” will explore the research and latest trends in large-scale 5G technologies deployment, Software Defined Networking, Cognitive and Intent-based Networking and Management, amongst other emerging network technologies.

Objective

The main goal of this project is to provide both Ph.D. and master students with the latest research on the areas of future networks. It allows them to explore the emerging technologies and help them shape their research interests, and to venture into research. This edited book also provides research practitioners with the opportunity to explore the areas of future networks and to endeavor in multi-disciplinary research.

Target Audience

The target audience of this book will be composed of professionals and researchers working in the field of computer networking. It is specifically aimed at attracting graduate students, researchers, academicians, institutions, and professionals that are interested in exploring the areas of next-generations networks.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 15, 2017, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by July 25, 2017, about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 30, 2017, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Trust in Knowledge Management and Systems in Organizations. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer-review editorial process.
