Introduction

As economy becomes more dynamic, interdependent and global, it causes a higher number of enterprises to define andpick an entry strategy to become international. Defining a process of market entry is not easy. It is a strategic process, and the choice of a entry strategy into foreign markets is one of the most relevant decisions for a company. It is relevant because it impacts on its performance and means it being ready to cooperate, to a greater or lesser extent, with global supply chains. On the other hand, the consumer is getting more and more informed and is more concerned with the origin of products and the origin of brands. Companies understand this importance and use the origin as an atribute to value the products and the brands.

Objective

This book will aim to provide relevant theoretical frameworks and the latest empirical research findings in the area. It will be written for professionals who want to improve their understanding of the strategic role of brands and their origin when thinking about expansion strategies and entering foreign markets.

Target Audience

The target audience of this book will be composed of professionals and researchers working in the field of international management and business in various disciplines, e.g management, marketing, branding, international marketing and strategy. Moreover, the book will provide insights and support executives concerned with market entry concerns, internationalisation strategies, destination and origin branding, and brand expansion having in mind the origin of brands and products.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before September 14, 2022, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by September 26, 2022 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by October 19, 2022, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Origin and Branding in International Market Entry Processes. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
