The epidemic provided an opportunity for numerous entrepreneurs to expand not only in their home markets but also globally. This was built on their own innovations, particularly business model advances.During the epidemic and in the new normal, understanding these advances is critical for the startup community. This book aims to identify through the observation of real practices of startups that are focused on business model innovations for foreign markets during the pandemic era. There is a need for new frameworks to conceptualise the innovative practices adopted by startups to survive as well as globalise their business operations during pandemic. In particular, the research will report how global startups managed to innovate their business model by focusing on value proposition and architecture. The findings will be useful to the startups (and SMEs) community to respond to the crisis and employ the learned lessons in the “new normal”, thereby adding to the body of knowledge.
