Introduction

This book endeavors to collaborate with leading national/international scientists, researchers, graduate/research scholars to benefit from their experiences and research outcomes on all major aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) specially related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The book will offer an interdisciplinary platform to discuss and propose the state-of-the-art, practical challenges, adopted solution as well as the future trends in AI's convergence to ICT. The book intends to address the area on ICT influenced by modern AI and machine learning techniques. Beginning from the high-level concepts, the book highlights challenges and bottlenecks in state-of-the-art and finally proposes a general trend and emergence of AI in ICT and related areas. The book will benefit the engineers, professionals, scientists, and academicians to have an insight in ICT industry and research from an AI point of view. The book is intended for the readers associate with the field of computer science, information technology, software engineering as well as telecommunication and electronics engineering.

Objective

Along with some advance discussion on AI in ICT, this book includes brief ideas about evolution of AI in ICT and a comprehensive introduction to ICT-related methods & techniques in artificial intelligence and machine learning, deep learning, signal processing, modern mobile and wireless systems emerging wireless networks. Along with that, the book also addresses the vast range of potential application of AI in the domains of national defense, military technology, hybrid warfare, medical & health sciences etc. The use of AI in decision making strategies based on predictive approaches for business, management & governance and extracting knowledge is exploited. The strengths and weakness, recommendations, emerging frontiers, and applications related to AI convergence with ICT shall be highlighted.

The book will benefit the engineers, professionals, scientists, and academicians to have an insight in ICT industry and research from an AI point of view. The book is intended for the readers associate with the field of computer science, information technology, software engineering as well as telecommunication and electronics engineering.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before September 21, 2022, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by October 5, 2022 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by December 4, 2022, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, AI and Its Convergence With Communication Technologies. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
