Introduction

World-renowned diversity expert Vernā Myers stated, "Diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance." The great resignation, quiet quitting, #MeTOO workplace cultures, Bro culture at work, the absence of more minorities in cybersecurity, cybercrime, the death of George Floyd, the Black Lives Matter Protests, racial health disparities, misinformation about COVID-19's origins/vaccines, and the emergence of new technologies that can be leveraged help others or misused to harm others have created a level of complexity about inclusion, equity, and organizational efficiency in organizations the areas of Healthcare, Education, Business, and Technology. Current events are pushing for the culture and norms of the workforce to transform. Organizational development and process improvement are front and center in promoting workplace psychological safety, inclusive cultures, and technological innovations. Often abbreviated as OD, organizational development improves existing processes, creates new ones, recommends solutions to complex organizational problems, and transforms antiquated workplace cultures. The main goal of organizational development is an improvement. However, improvement can mean different things to different organizations as the concepts of equitable, inclusive, collaborative, effective, and efficient continue to evolve in ways that affect the life cycle of an organization. This book would like to take a systems and an interdisciplinary academic approach to understanding the real-world impact and practical solutions-oriented approach to the chaotic convergence and emergence of organizational challenges and complex issues in Healthcare, Education, Business, and Technology through a lens of ideas and strategies that are different and innovative. The core focus of this book is finding practical solutions and recommendations from scholars to fix dynamics, processes, and interactions that have the propensity to damage organizations, harm people, ignore people's rights, and exclude groups. PUBLIC POLICY PAPERS WITH LITERATURE REVIEWS, QUALITATIVE STUDIES, ACTION RESEARCH STUDIES, REAL-WORLD PROBLEM-SOLVING CASE STUDIES WITH LITERATURE REVIEWS ARE ALL WELCOMED AND HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
