IGI Global's Academic Librarian Sponsorship Program: Charleston Conference

At IGI Global, we are committed to "Publishing Tomorrow’s Research Today." As a long-time Charleston Conference exhibitor and sponsor, we are proud to continue our Academic Librarian Sponsorship Program dedicated to supporting librarians' attendance at this important event.

In the rapidly evolving higher education landscape, generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are transforming the way we approach teaching and learning. Staying at the forefront of these advancements is essential for librarians and educators.

As part of our ongoing commitment to professional growth and collaboration, IGI Global will select four (4) librarians to each receive a $1,000 stipend for in-person attendance at the 2024 Charleston Conference, taking place November 11-15 in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

During the conference, we invite you to visit us at Table #31 during the Vendor Showcase on November 12th. There, you can engage with Jim Kapoun, MLS, Library Relations Coordinator, and Nick Newcomer, IGI Global's Vice President of Sales & Marketing, to discuss

  • Your library's IGI Global research book holdings
  • Your faculty's publishing history with IGI Global
  • Current consortium opportunities and flexible e-book and e-Book Collection acquisition options
  • Institutional Open Access agreements, providing your students, faculty, and researchers with access to 200 gold open access journals in Business and Management; Science, Technology, and Medicine; and Education and Social Sciences

You will also learn about what sets IGI Global apart: our remarkable publishing speed. Our books are typically completed within 6-9 months, while other academic publishers often take 24-36 months to produce books. Additionally, our peer-reviewed, open access journal articles are published in as little as 2 weeks, ensuring that your faculty's research stays current and relevant. Rest assured that our efficiency in publishing does not compromise the quality of our peer review process. We are proud members of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring the highest ethical standards in our publications.
