Andy Jiahao LiuAndy Jiahao Liu is currently a Global Professor of English at University of Arizona, where he delivers international foundations writing courses to multilingual writers. His research interests lie in second language writing, English for research publication purposes, and language testing and assessment. His research has been published in the Journal of Second Language Writing, Innovations in Education and Teaching International, and many others. Besides, Andy is an active and enthusiastic participant in his professional communities. Founding co-chair of the Language Tester Mentoring Program at the International Language Testing Association (ILTA), Andy now serves as the co-chair of the Test-taker Insights in Language Assessment SIG at ILTA. In the TESOL International Association, Andy is the current co-editor of the Applied Linguistics Forum, the newsletter of the Applied Linguistics Interest Section; he was also elected as the incoming Chair of the Second Language Writing Interest section in March 2024.
