Kate Fletcher

Kate Fletcher is an Associate Professor in Reading School of Pharmacy (RSoP) at the University of Reading. She is a registered pharmacist who worked in NHS hospitals for 20 years, during which time she became the first Teacher Practitioner at RSoP in 2005, combining clinical practice with teaching to support the learning and development of pharmacy undergraduates. Kate is a University Teaching Fellow and a Senior Fellow of Advance HE. Currently the convener of a second-year pharmacy practice module on the Master of Pharmacy programme, Kate has worked in a number of roles within RSoP, including Head of Section – Pharmacy at the University of Reading Malaysia. Her interests include the international student experience, equality, diversity and inclusion in higher education, and the use of technology enhanced learning.
