Laurentina Vareiro , Professor of Economics at the School of Management, Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), and research center: Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG), Portugal. She has a PhD in Economics (2008) at the University of Minho, Braga. Her research interests include regional, rural and urban economics, tourism economics, rural and cultural tourism.
