Megan R. Brown

Megan R. Brown is an Assistant Professor of Education at Cedarville University. She taught K-6th grade in numerous positions in public elementary schools in New York before obtaining her Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning from The Ohio State University. She also received an M.A. in Children's Literature from Hollins University. Certified to teach both elementary and special education at the primary level, she teaches Primary and Special Education literacy methods, children's literature, and assessment courses. Her research interests include disability in children’s literature, semiotics, and preservice teacher literacy education.
