Navkiran Kaur

Navkiran Kaur is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Punjabi University, Patiala (Punjab, India). She holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science on the topic ‘Role of Medical College Libraries in Health Information Literacy in Punjab and Chandigarh: An Analytical Study’ and has a strong research background with contribution of more than 30 research papers in journals, conference proceedings, and edited books. She has jointly edited two books. Dr. Kaur has traveled to different parts of the country for academic and professional assignments. She has been actively participating in national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, and training programs. She is a life member of the Indian Library Association (ILA), the Indian Association of Teachers of Library and Information Science (IATLIS), and the Punjab Library Association (PLA). Her areas of interest are Health Information Literacy; Information Literacy; Information Sources and Services; Knowledge Organization and Information Processing; Information Storage and Retrieval; and Information Analysis, Consolidation and Repackaging.
