Olga Safonkina

Olga Safonkina is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, National Research Mordovia State University (Russia). She holds a BA in English Linguistics, MA in Social Studies, Central European University, and a PhD in Philosophy. She has been teaching courses in Second/foreign Language Acquisition, Testing and Assesment and Language Teaching Methodology at undergraduate level, Business English and Cross-Cultural Communication at postgraduate level. She has been conducting and supervising research. She has also been an item writer for National Test in English (Russia) and is affiliated with National Association of Teachers of English (NATE, Russia). Dr. Safonkina has experience in external quality assurance in the capacity of an institutional/program evaluation expert in Arts and Humanities. Also, she organizes, coordinates, and contributes to Erasmus+ projects including support in preparation of applications, project management, and project reporting.
