Smruti Rekha Behera

Smruti Rekha Behera is presently working as an Assistant Professor at Rourkela Institute of Management Studies. She is a Post Graduate in Management with certification in SAP (HCM). Prior to joining academics, she has over eight years of corporate experience. She has worked in various HR verticals, including induction and joining formalities, payroll management, training and development, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR policy development. Her teaching and research interest includes include Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Policy & Strategy, Counselling & Negotiation Skills for Managers. She has also utilized her skills in small-term HR projects for IT companies, demonstrating her practical understanding of HR practices and challenges in real-world settings. She has published few papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences.
