Tony Eaude

Tony Eaude was, for nine years, the headteacher of a multi-cultural first school in Oxford, UK. He then studied for an M.Sc. and a doctorate at the University of Oxford and has worked independently since 2003. Among his books are 'Children's Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development- Primary and Early Years’, 'Thinking Through Pedagogy for Primary and Early Years' and ‘How do expert primary classroom teachers really work? - a critical guide for teachers, headteachers and teacher educators.’ ‘New Perspectives on Young Children’s Moral Education – Developing Character through a Virtue Ethics Approach’ was published in 2016, ‘Developing the Expertise of Primary and Elementary Classroom Teachers: Professional Learning for a Changing World’ in 2018, and ‘Identity, Culture and Belonging: Educating Young Children for a Changing World’ in 2020.
