Vaios Koumaras

Vaios Koumaras received his BSc degree in Computer Information Systems from the American College of Greece and his MBA in IT Project Management from the City University, USA. Since 1997, he has worked in several positions as Computer Analyst and Software Developer, participating in major IT projects. For more than 15 years, he holded the position of senior R&D software engineer and project manager, with participation and collaboration in R&D IT projects of numerous companies worldwide, mainly in marine software including the applicability of IoT in the shipping sector. Moreover, Mr. Koumaras is specialized in the management of IT projects concerning IoT applicability and data operability along with the design and development of chatbot apps both for commercial and research purposes (especially in IoT and 5G enabled industry environments). Since 2017, Mr. Koumaras is the Managing Director of INFOLYSiS and one of its co-founders.
