Vishal Sarin

Vishal Sarin has obtained PhD degree in Economics (Thesis title: Trade relations between India and ASEAN Countries 1991) from Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab, India. Currently working as Professor in the Department of Economics at Mittal School of Business (ACBSP accreditation by the USA, and the 2nd ranked in the Management field in India) with Lovely Professional University (LPU) since September 2007. His Area of Research included International Trade, Trade Specialization and Competitiveness, Trade Analytics, Trade and Financial Integration, Digital Currency, Financial Inclusion. In academic career spanning over 16 years he has published more than 30 research papers in coveted journals including ABDC Ranking and SCOPUS listed journals, presented papers in 22 conferences, published 4 books, resource person in 12 FDPs on data analysis and research methodology. Prof. Sarin also supervised eight Ph.D. scholars successfully. His area of research includes competitiveness, trade analytics, digital currency and financial inclusion. He is also a member of the Doctoral Board for Economics and evaluated many research scholars at various platforms.
