Vladimir M. Ristanović

Vladimir Ristanović is a research associate at the Institute for European Studies and an associate professor. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade in 2000. He obtained his master's degree at the same faculty in 2004. He defended his doctorate in International Economy and Finance in 2010 at the Faculty of International Economics of Megatrend University. Part of his research and analytical experience comes from the strategic and analytical affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. As a civil servant, through the technical rounds of the accession agreement, he acquired numerous certified knowledge of the EU legal acquis (Acquis communautaire). He built his teaching career at the Faculty of International Economics of Megatrend University, first as an assistant professor in 2010, then as an associate professor in 2015 in the narrow scientific field of International Economics and Finance. During his teaching career, he was a visiting professor at Erasmus+ programs (University West Timisoara, Romania, 2018, and Universitatea “Lucian Blaga” din Sibiu, Romania, 2019) and a visiting lecturer at the University Technique de Monterey Mexico in 2018. He participated in numerous international conferences in Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Mexico.
