Abstract

The physical and mental health and quality of life of women during menopause undergo significant changes, accompanied by symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia. How to solve menopausal health problems has become a major challenge. By comparing the menopausal symptoms, Greene symptoms, psychological emotions, and satisfaction of two groups of women, the impact of physical exercise combined with psychological intervention on women's menopausal health is analyzed. The research results indicate that after two intervention methods, women's depression and anxiety scores significantly decreased, but the combination of physical exercise and psychological intervention has a greater reduction. The overall satisfaction of the combined intervention group reached 94.67%, much higher than the 87% of individual interventions. The research results provide theoretical data support for the combination of physical exercise and psychological intervention to promote menopausal healthcare for women.

Introduction

With the aging of China's population, large cities are aging earlier and face more prominent problems. According to statistics, the average life expectancy of urban women in China is 80 years old, and continuously improving the quality of life and health status of elderly women has become a hot issue (Carcelén-Fraile et al.,2020). The health care of menopausal women directly affects their physical health, and can also provide protection for the physical and physiological health of old age (Fann et al.,2008). During menopause, women experience a series of physical and psychological changes such as headaches, insomnia, mood swings, etc. due to the gradual decline in ovarian function. By balancing diet, exercising, improving sleep, maintaining a happy mood, and conducting regular physical examinations, menopausal women can be helped to pass this stage in a healthy physical and physiological state (Duijts et al.,2012). With the development of medical technology and the continuous extension of human lifespan, the importance of menopausal women's health care for women's health has attracted much attention (Duijts et al.,2009).
