Abstract

This study aims to know the impact of entrepreneurial leadership on strategic ambidexterity through the mediating role of knowledge sharing in Tala Abu-Ghazaleh International Group. It also aims to know the concepts of entrepreneurial leadership, strategic ambidexterity, and knowledge sharing. In order to achieve the study objectives, the analytical descriptive method is used. The survey method has also been used for sample selection by distributing the questionnaire electronically to all members of the study population around the world, composed of all managers of top and middle departments in Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Group, with a total of 170 managers, where 142 questionnaires were returned, which are good enough for analysis since they constitute 83.5% of all distributed questionnaires. The study results show an increase in the relative significance of entrepreneurial leadership, strategic ambidexterity, knowledge sharing, and an impact of entrepreneurial leadership on strategic ambidexterity in the presence of knowledge sharing in Tala Abu-Ghazaleh International Group.

Research Problem

Due to the political and economic conditions that the world in general and the Middle East in particular are going through, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Group has been exposed to threats that could lead to the loss of investment opportunities in some countries and some of its offices may be closed in others, as the Group’s companies and offices spread throughout the world.

Based on the above, it has become a must to have a leadership that is able to work in a pioneering manner through proactive action and risk-taking in which it can deal with dynamic markets full of competition and uncertainties, while enhancing the role of knowledge sharing processes so that the Group can anticipate threats so as not to lose existing resources and capabilities, while at the same time give the Group the ability to identify and exploit opportunities within the resources and capabilities that it has for the benefit of the present and the future. According to previous explanations, the problem of the study is the following main question:

What is the impact of entrepreneurial leadership on strategic ambidexterity through the mediating role of knowledge sharing in Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Group?
