Defining Context-Rich Learning

Like the idea of justice that Aristotle puts forth in the Nicomachean Ethics, CRL is most easily noticed in its absence. The rote memorization, standardized testing, and other one size fits all approach to education only contains context for students who already enjoy school or who attach their self-worth to pleasing their teachers and parents. For those that worry about that student population, fear not, all of that flavor of instruction has already been created. Furthermore, those students who “know how to do school” will not be harmed by CRL.
