Introduction

The dynamic role of human resources (HR) has lately been taken over by Human resource management (HRM). HR departments are no longer considered a subset of a company generated solely for the reason of recruiting and terminating staff members (Nishii, Lepak and Schneider, 2008). Human resources, an organisation's most valuable asset, have the tendency to offer competitive advantages over time. The field of HRA has been around for a while, but its popularity has only recently grown. Workforce, talent, human capital and people analytics are other terms for HR analytics (Tursunbayeva, Lauro and Pagliari, 2018), which is used interchangeably by academics and the business world. The link amid analytics and human resource management is obvious, although human resource management is late in joining the data analytics trend (Sharma and Sharma, 2017). HR analytics is the result of unifying and merging human resource metrics and business analysis in general.

HR enters the metaverse, and it has an essential role in aiding the combination of virtual environments into Human resource (HR) practices. This includes overseeing virtual reality in recruitment and remote onboarding processes, developing virtual training and development programs, and fostering a sense of virtual community and employee engagement. The purpose of HRA is to improve decisions about people to enhance individual performance and/or organisational performance by applying a methodology and integrated process (Bassi, 2011).
