Georgios Doukidis

For the last ten years, Professor Doukidis has led the ELTRUN Research Group (www.eltrun.aueb.gr) , one of the largest and most innovative research and development groups in e-Business in European Business Schools, with 35 researchers and ten current large European projects with more than 40 research and development groups. The expertise of ELTRUN spans the whole ranges of new economy applications and services, from digital interactive television to knowledge management and from mobile commerce business models and strategies to employment studies in the Information Economy. Professor Doukidis has taught at the London School of Economics and since 1995 he has been a Visiting Professor at Brunel University in the UK and is currently National Director of the Global eManagement MBA Program (GeM) and Head of the Department of Management Science & Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has published more than 100 papers and 12 books.
