Editor/Author Biographies
Tereza Raquel Merlo is a Professor and practitioner, currently teaching in the Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas and working for one of the top ranking Fortune Global 500 companies. She holds two Masters degrees in Information Sciences and a Ph.D in Business and Information Technologies. As an enthusiastic practitioner with more than twenty years of experience working for some of the world's leading companies in the fields of Information Technology and Management, she concentrates on business intelligence, data analytics, sales operations, business systems and process improvement. Her research has focused on knowledge management and information technologies in business settings. Her publications have included topics in the fields of Knowledge Management, Cloud Computing, Management and Data Analytics. Additionally, Dr. Merlo has over a decade of work in libraries and archives as well as in data management, having spent over ten years in the public sector, where she led programs designed to promote social/digital inclusion. Dr. Merlo was the keynote speaker for the XV ICKM, discussing international experiences in knowledge management.
