Edited by the Vice Dean of ISCAP (School of Accountancy and Administration of Porto) and a referee and member of the editorial board for IGI Global, this work brings together the writings of 34 international scholars and practitioners in 16 chapters. Organized into five sections, the work provides empirical research findings and best practices sorted into the process of creativity and innovation, techniques for creativity, tools for creativity, best practices, and a concluding chapter. Looking at examples and research on, by, and in organizations, education, and business, this volume helps those who wish to understand and expand their creativity and innovation, and to disseminate such, with a focus on the impact technology has had on this area. The chapters all include references, while many also include definitions of key terms and suggested additional readings. The volume itself includes a detailed table of contents with abstracts and a compilation of references. While some chapters are appropriate for novices others are more appropriate for the experienced practitioner, making this volume valuable for all levels of individuals who are creating new knowledge and ideas to deal with the rapidly changing environment. This volume is more about the changes technology is causing the need for creativity and innovation in implementing such changes as well as the impact of technology on causing these creative innovations.
