Abstract
Information and communication technology (ICT) in education is thought to be able to create productive learning environments. ICT use in education has the potential to improve learning, teaching, and performance. Students' language skills, learning engagement, and success in language acquisition have all improved as a result of the use of ICT-enabled English teaching environments. The benefits include improving student performance on written class assessments, boosting motivation to encourage independent learning, critical thinking skills, and creativity, establishing interaction, improving communication, and promoting research and cooperative learning in language classes. Providing teachers with appropriate, pertinent, and accessible professional development activities to satisfy their ICT needs and assist them in better understanding in the twenty-first century is essential. Language teachers should be aware that their capacity to effectively adopt and utilise e-learning materials depends not only on their familiarity with such resources, but also on their motivational beliefs, perceptions, and learning practices.
