infosci written on a keyboardHershey, PA – May 26, 2017– IGI Global is proud to launch an updated platform for all IGI Global’s information science and technology e-books, e-journals and streaming videos. In close consultation with researchers, partners and librarians – the InfoSci platform has been designed to deliver a world-class online research experience. From an enhanced landing page to new resources for authors, librarians and researchers, the InfoSci platform was optimized to support everyone accessing and contributing to IGI Global’s esteemed scholarly research.

The platform enhancement and resources adds to the substantial list of features already favored by librarians and researchers, such as no DRM, unlimited simultaneous users, no platform or maintenance fees and full-text PDF and XML. Home to more than 3,900 books, 169 journals and 100 streaming videos, the award-winning platform now includes:
  • A new landing page that allows researchers to browse by subject and recently released books, journals and videos.
  • Enhanced platform search features include greater options for refining your search by type and publication year.
  • All references for IGI Global’s peer-reviewed research are now available in HTML at the article-level and can be followed using Google Scholar, CrossRef and DOI.org.
  • Full-text download is now available for both books (chapter and full-book) and journals (article and issue).
  • New help areas for researchers and authors with charts for key features, tips and materials.
  • An updated Librarian Corner that now includes the ability for libraries to update the logo used in the InfoSci platform, IP ranges and additional resources such as title list downloads and LibGuides information.
Visit the updated InfoSci-platform here, and visit the For Librarians page for more information, including IGI Global LibGuides and training information. For assistance utilizing your IGI Global e-resources, please contact the IGI Global E-Resources Team at eresources@igi-global.com.
