Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure 21st century information, technology and media skills. In this framework, a literature review was conducted, and an item pool was created. The draft scale was analyzed by field experts and necessary corrections were made. The scale was applied to 653 prospective teachers. Validity and reliability studies were conducted in line with the data obtained. The construct validity of the scale was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis. Whether the determined factor structure is a valid model was tested by confirmatory factor analysis. According to principal components analysis, a 3-factor structure was obtained. Confirmation of the three-factor structure obtained by exploratory factor analysis was carried out by factor analysis and the goodness of fit values obtained were at the level of excellent fit and acceptable fit. In reliability, Cronbach's Alpha internal consistency coefficients were analyzed for both factors and the whole scale.
