Abdullah Açık

Dr. Abdullah Açık received his Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Business Administration from Dokuz Eylül University, Maritime Faculty in 2013. He continued his postgraduate studies in the same department, earning his Master’s degree in 2016 and completing his Ph.D. in Maritime Business Administration in 2020. In 2021, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of International Trade. His primary research interests include the freight market, dry bulk and tanker shipping, maritime economics, and the application of econometric methods in maritime transport studies.
