Aylin Seçkin Georges
has a Ph.D. in Economics (Carleton), an MA degree in European Economics (Universite Libre de Bruxelles), an undergraduate BA degree in Economics (Bogazici). Before joining the University of Ottawa, she taught at Bilgi University. Her research concerns population ageing, art and cultural economics. She is also DBA Thesis supervisor at the Business School of Lausanne. She has published in various leading academic journals on population aging, on art and cultural economics such as Economics Bulletin, Economic Modelling, Applied Financial Economics, Canadian Public Policy, Empirical Economics, Journal of Cultural Economics, Acta Oeconomica. She has also published a book entitled Sanatın Ekonomisi (The Economics of Art), by Hayalperest Publishing House, 2021. She has also a video series called The Economics of Everything on FluTV.
