Benedetta Melloni

Benedetta Melloni is a PhD candidate in Reggio Childhood Studies at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in partnership with the Reggio Children Foundation. Her research focuses on intercultural dialogue and inclusion in primary education, analyzing policies, educational practice, and perceptions across formal and non-formal settings. Her multidisciplinary career began in 2012 with roles at both the European Commission and the European Parliament in Brussels and Luxembourg. She subsequently spent five years at Engineering International Belgium and Engineering Ingegneria Informatica, where she managed projects and drafted R&D proposals focused on Smart Cities and Smart Communities. Since 2018, she has been with the Reggio Children Foundation, where she integrates her expertise in EU project design into her role as International Research Strategist.
