Jatinder Singh

Dr. Jatinder Singh has been serving as an Professor in Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar (India) since, 2013. His area of research is production of seasonal fruits and their upto-date preservation by using of different post-harvest technologies. He has published around 100 publications along with 25 book chapters with the national/international publishers. He has won many honours/prizes like First in poster presentation (2021), best academician award (2023) and Vigyan Varta all rounder award (2022). He has guided 26 students of postgraduation and three students of P.hD. Most of the students are/had worked on post-harvest technology. He got published six patents through Govt of India and ten copyright. He has worked in various government procurement organizations such as Punjab Agro Food Grains Corp. Ltd. He also has experience in private organizations such as Genesis seeds, Krishna seeds. He also has worked internationally in East Land Agro Pvt Ltd. As a Project Manager in West Africa. He also excels in teaching experience such as he contributed in colleges like SGTB Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib and Miri Piri Khalsa College Bhadour, Barnala. He has attended various trainings such as National training on production technology of Mushrooms, Vermicomposting, Grain storage, Entrepreneurship development programme, 15 days training on novel technologies and various workshops also
