R. Mathusoothana S. Kumar

Mathusoothana S Kumar R . received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Engineering College, Kovilpatti in 1994. He received Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, Srivilliputtur, Krishnankoil in 1998. He received Ph.D in Information and communication engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2014. He is currently working as Professor & Head, in the Department of Information Technology, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kumaracoil. His research area includes Image processing, Information Coding Techniques, Database Management Systems, Data Mining, and Multimedia. Published a patent, thirty papers in International Journals and three papers in National Journals. Published a text book “Information Theory and Coding” during 2004. He is a Life member of ISTE and Faculty Advisor of Student Chapter IET
