Rosette Kabuye
is DVC Academics Bugema University. She completed her PhD at University of Kent in 2015, with a topic that looked at “Approaches of fighting poverty among older people in Uganda a Wakiso and Luwero district”. She has a Master’s in Public Administration and Management from Makerere University in Uganda (2000-2003). Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences majoring in Sociology and Social Administration, Makerere University in Uganda,(1996 to 1999). She served as Dean Graduate school Bugema University, She also served as Quality Assurance Director Bugema University (2007-2012), responsible for; developing pilot self-evaluations in at least one study programme within my University. She participated in the implementation of quality assurance within the university. My teaching and research interests are Social Administration, Social policy and Poverty study areas. My Specialist areas of expertise are poverty among the vulnerable members of society. I have published on Older Person’s conceptualization of poverty in Uganda, and government approaches to the fight against poverty.
