Abstract

This chapter focuses on a movement toward textual or text-centered case study as a methodology for exploring pedagogical experiences, as well as concepts of literacy and language. The author draws upon the tenets and history of case study methodology and employs an example case study to serve as a conversation starter for this approach, defining the methodology distinctly from other similar approaches. Additionally, the author notes the possibilities for the methodology including potential lines of inquiry and links to post-humanism.
