Abstract

This chapter explores gamification as an inclusive pedagogical strategy in Physical Education (PE), focusing on severely wasted learners who face barriers such as low energy, limited motor skills, and reduced confidence due to malnutrition. Through the integration of play-based learning, gamified PE incorporates elements like challenges, rewards, collaboration, and immediate feedback to foster motivation, engagement, and participation. The chapter discusses the evolution of gamification in PE, its alignment with experiential learning, and the design of adaptive, low-intensity activities suitable for learners with restricted stamina. Emphasis is placed on the physical, emotional, and social benefits of gamified approaches, alongside recommendations for educators, policymakers, and curriculum developers. Overall, the chapter positions gamification as a transformative framework for creating inclusive, supportive, and empowering PE experiences for vulnerable and marginalized learners.
