Abstract
This study addresses the critical field of information security risk mitigation introduced by humans. Recognizing and fixing risk factors resulting from human behavior is essential at a time when complex cyber threats plague digital environments. This research is significant because it acknowledges that human vulnerability plays a major role in information security breaches. Despite technological advances, insufficient training, malicious intent, and human error remain major obstacles. Organizations that ignore these factors risk devastating data breaches, financial ruin, and serious harm to their reputation. By addressing human-related vulnerabilities, companies can better protect their digital assets and ensure a more secure working environment. The research illustrates the importance of comprehensive training programs, strict security policies, and a culture of awareness to mitigate risks associated with human factors. Effective risk mitigation requires a multifaceted strategy that combines technology with human-centered strategies to safeguard against evolving cyber threats.
