Abstract
The adoption of AI in education and research is not negotiable in the contemporary educational ecosystem. Despite its myriads of challenges and global concerns, Librarians are hopping up their game as AI anchors for its successful adoption and integration so that students and educators alike seamlessly navigate from being AI novice to being AI expert. The Novice2Expert Research Framework presents Librarians as pivotal to the ethical infusion and usage of AI in education and research. The framework is underpinned by the Embedded Librarianship Model which enunciates the adoption of strategies that situate Librarians in offering information-related content and at the same time act as information resource persons in solving AI research confusion. The study laid emphasis on critical thinking skills in order to guide students against AI regurgitation. Embracing the ethical usage of AI will further entrench the academic integrity of the educational landscape which will ensure the sustainability of both the research space and the AI technologies
