Blockchain technology presents a viable answer to these problems because of its decentralized and unchangeable nature. This article examines how blockchain technology might revolutionize contemporary libraries. It explores how blockchain technology might improve digital rights management, expedite metadata and cataloging administration, strengthen data security, and enable open interlibrary lending systems. The article shows real-world applications and advantages, as well as the technical and legal hurdles such libraries may face, by looking at current implementations and experimental projects. In the end, this thorough examination highlights how blockchain technology might improve transparency and safeguard knowledge, opening the door for libraries to develop in the twenty-first century.
