Abstract
The chapter on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and new hope technologies goes deeper into the dynamics that AI, predictive analytics, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), and conversational AI have now brought into Human Resources (HR). It underlines the key focus of HCI on staffing, attraction, selection and training, appraisal, feedback and rewards, increasing organizational productivity, customer outcomes and employee loyalty. As the chapter builds upon the most recent case studies and explores the trends in the HCI implementation, it also points to the risks and ethical concerns regarding privacy, bias in algorithms, and automation versus interactions. Recommendations are targeted to HR professionals regarding digital transformation, stressing ethical frameworks, transparency, and inclusion concerns. Finally, the study assumes that technology and Human factors can coexist in HR. Hence, there is a need to employ a human-centered approach to technology adoption for organizational growth in the ever-trending advanced technological world.
